Growing Together
At first the Socius motto 'Growing
Together' might seem a little odd. How can a small training
company have a direct effect on the development of an organization
like
Nordea or Helsinki City Council?
In reality, unless our trainers are
involved with the company's management team it's quite unlikely.
In this instance 'Growing Together' refers to the personal
development and cultural pluralism of the group members or
individuals benefiting from the training. Language and culture
are inseparable, which means a different language may require
the extension of the self in new directions.
Having said that, for small and
medium-sized companies, (SMEs) Socius COULD be instrumental in
opening doors that in other circumstances might be difficult to
open.
Business Development is a delicate
process, and needs to handled with preparation and persistence
and professionalism.
It's here that a more integrated
approach is essential. A strengthened bond between client and
service company is the foundation upon which a real impact can
be made.
Don't make your training company part
of the problem -in terms of employees being away from their
jobs- make it part of the solution.
